Puss in Boots

A funny fairy tale

Friday, August 15th 6-8PM
Saturday, August 16th- 1-3PM

There are parts for kids of all ages up to 18, but if you are younger than 7, you will need to talk to the director.

This play is about one hour and will have a French fable feel- so powdered hair, lots of rouge, etc. for the royalty and nobles.  There will also be sword fighting!

Characters needed:

PUSS (a clever cat)
TOM (his master)
JEANETTE (Tom's older sister)
GABRIELLE (Tom's BOSSY older sister)
COUNTESS (noblewoman)
ROSALIND (countess's daughter who is ALWAYS giggling)
PRINCESS PAM
QUEEN LOUISE
KING LOUIS
COACHMAN (takes care of royal family)
DOG (belongs to an Ogre)
THE GREAT OGRE **( in our show he will be a 'giant')

**NOTE: if any big brothers or dads want to get involved this is a great chance to be on stage with your family-not a lot of lines) **

COOK (Ogre's servant)
PEASANT WOMAN (Ogre's servant)
PRISONER (held captive by the Ogre)

ROYAL COURT MEMBERS, Other Villagers, Prisoners, etc. will be considered if the response is overwhelming.

Shows will be (approximately) October 17, 18 and 25, 26 (there will be 2 shows on Saturdays) for a total of six performances.

Rehearsals are fairly flexible - approximately 5:30-7:30 pm 3 nights per week.
As always, we would like to hear from you if you want to help our tech crew. We train! Small fee ($20 for materials) for children cast in the show.  ____________________________________________
